Housing Assistant

Housing Assistant

TCAction is the largest permanent, supportive housing provider in Tompkins County.  We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to join our team!

Housing Assistants implements day-to-day service delivery to Housing program participants; maintaining assigned caseload. Responsibilities include: timely completion of re-certification, collecting documentation, identification of household composition and income, collecting third party verification and supporting documentation to ensure program compliance, data base input and maintenance, issuing voucher documents; conducting re-certifications; and maintaining and completing required reports and records.

Housing Resident Assistant – FT

TCAction is the largest permanent, supportive housing provider in Tompkins County.  We are looking for an energetic, positive coordinator to join our team!

Provides on-site coverage at Supportive Housing Program locations; work schedule defined by location and resident needs. Primary responsibilities include: maintaining site control, resident safety and monitoring for adherence to program policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include: daily housing program reporting, rent collection, data tracking, file maintenance and daily building cleaning tasks and supporting apartment turnover activities. Position also participates in program service delivery: including resident transportation to meetings or appointments, participation in housing and community events

Work hours: 40 hours per week; nights and weekends.
