Our Family Literacy program provides wonderful opportunities for families to develop and enhance a lifelong love of reading.
Families enrolled in our Family Home Library program receive a new book and project materials for the whole family to enjoy each month. Throughout the year Family Literacy Events provide opportunities for group activities and social gatherings centered on book themes for children and families.
In addition, TCAction continuously promotes literacy skills and learning through activities and involvement with local libraries. Local librarians visit sites engaging children and families in lively large group readings, as well as leaving library books for children and families to enjoy.
